Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what information is collected when you visit kraisorn.co (the "Site"), why it is collected, and what choices you have. The Site is a personal website operated by Kraisorn Arjharnsaranont.

Information I collect

The Site has no accounts, no sign-up, and no comment system. I do not ask you for personal information in order to browse it. The following is collected automatically or through third-party services:

  • Analytics data. The Site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. This includes pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, referring website, browser, device type, and language.
  • Performance data. The Site uses Vercel Speed Insights to measure page-loading performance. It collects anonymous, aggregated metrics about page speed and does not identify you.
  • Server logs. The Site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request data such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL in order to deliver the page and protect the service.
  • Information you send me. If you email me or book a meeting, I receive whatever you choose to include, such as your name, email address, and message.

Cookies and local storage

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. The Site also stores your light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. That preference stays on your device and is never sent to me or to anyone else. There is no advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking on the Site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

How the information is used

Analytics and performance data are used only in aggregate to see which content is useful and to keep the Site fast. Anything you send me by email or through a meeting booking is used to reply to you and to have the conversation you asked for. I do not sell your data, and I do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed below.

Third-party services

These providers process data on my behalf, each under their own privacy policy:

  • Vercel — hosting, server logs, and Speed Insights.
  • Google — Google Analytics.
  • HubSpot — meeting scheduling, if you choose to book a time.

The Site also links out to sites such as GitHub and LinkedIn. Once you follow a link, you are on that site and its privacy policy applies, not this one.

How long data is kept

Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics and is then deleted automatically. Emails and meeting records are kept for as long as they are useful for the conversation or as required for record-keeping, and are deleted on request.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — for example under the EU/UK GDPR or Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act — you may have the right to access the personal data I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email me at the address below and I will respond as promptly as I reasonably can.

Children

The Site is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. Any change is published on this page with a new "last updated" date.
